UK-based Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) has opened a branch in Qatar, aimed at supporting the Gulf country in raising safety standards at work sites, the Peninsula has reported. The Qatar branch of the world's only chartered body for health and safety professionals hopes to bring together professionals and organisations in the country to help improve road traffic, fire and construction safety, while promoting the country's 2030 vision.
