IPIC and Adnoc to export three commercial cargoes of Abu Dhabi Murban crude oil

International Petroleum Investment Company (IPIC) and Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) are pleased to announce that three commercial cargoes of Abu Dhabi Murban crude oil (total volume 1.85 million barrels) are to be exported during the week of 25 November 2012 utilizing the ADCOP facilities in Fujairah.
The Abu Dhabi Crude oil Pipeline (ADCOP) project, which is being implemented by IPIC, is now undergoing final commissioning and is expected to be handed over fully to ADNOC during Q1 2013.
It comprises a 48 inch diameter, 400 km long pipeline and associated facilities with the capacity of transporting 1.5 million barrels per day of crude oil from Habshan in Abu Dhabi to the terminal and offshore export facilities in Fujairah. Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Operations (ADCO) is the nominated operator for the pipeline.
