Two further shipments with a total volume of 1.7 million barrels are scheduled for exports during the second half of December 2012.
The Abu Dhabi Crude oil Pipeline (ADCOP) project, which is being implemented by IPIC, is now undergoing final commissioning and is expected to be handed over fully to ADNOC during Q1 2013.
It comprises a 48 inch diameter, 400 km long pipeline and associated facilities with the capacity of transporting 1.5 million barrels per day of crude oil from Habshan in Abu Dhabi to the terminal and offshore export facilities in Fujairah. Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Operations (ADCO) is the nominated operator for the pipeline.
