Iran boosts gasoline production

Iran has announced the first locally made alkylation unit of a gasoline making project has come online at Abadan oil refinery, Fars news has reported. Gasoline production capacity of the refinery rose to six million litres per day by starting the alkylation unit, said the engineering manager of the project. "By launching the alkylation unit, total gasoline production capacity of Abadan oil refinery reached 15 million litres per day," the official said.
