Iran to build refineries in Africa to boost exports

Iran has signed agreements with Algeria, Angola, and South Africa to build small refineries in these countries, Fars news has reported. The chairman of the union of Iranian exporters of oil derivatives, Hassan Khosrojerdi, said the planned refineries can boost Iran's crude oil exports and oil products. In September 2012, oil minister Rostam Qasemi said the Islamic Republic was considering the construction of small refineries in some African countries.
