Iran crude exports to fall 25% In December
- Iran: Saturday, December 08 - 2012 at 04:18
Iran's crude exports are set to fall by around 25% this month from the preceding month to the lowest since tough sanctions were applied this year, Reuters has reported, citing shipping sources. Oil shipments by Iran have more than halved in 2012 due to US and European sanctions on its oil trade. Most of the crude would have gone to Asian buyers including China, India, Japan and South Korea, with the drop in December shipments from November, representing a loss of about $800m for Iran at current oil prices.
