Iran says not involved in cyber-attacks against Aramco, RasGas

Iran's National Centre of Cyberspace has denied any role in recent cyber-attacks against oil and gas companies in the Gulf region, the Associated Press has reported. "Allegations of an Iranian link to the attacks on Saudi state oil company Aramco and Qatari natural gas producer RasGas are politically motivated," said the head of the National Centre of Cyberspace, Mahdi Akhavan Bahabadi. Last week, a former US government official said American authorities believe that Iranian hackers, likely supported by the government, were responsible for the Gulf cyber-attacks.
