Iran has said it is ready to provide a "big credit line" to help revive the distressed economy of Egypt, which saw its foreign currency reserves fall nearly 10% last month, the Associated Press has reported. The offer was made by Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who's on a three-day visit to Egypt, centred around an Islamic summit. It is the first trip by an Iranian leader after the two countries severed relations after the 1979 Islamic revolution.
