Iran raised crude production in February

Iran has raised its oil production in February by 200,000 barrels per day (bpd), Fars news has reported, citing an industry source. The country is now producing 2.9 million bpd, the majority of which is sent to the country's refineries to turn into oil products, the source said. Last month, oil minister Rostam Qassemi said the country's hydrocarbon reserves have increased by 3bn barrels due to the discovery of new oil fields.
