Iran reports $72bn in foreign trade

Iran has said the total value of its foreign trade neared $72bn during the first nine months of the current Iranian year (March 20 - December 20), despite the sanctions and restrictions imposed on the country's economy, Fars news has reported. The Islamic Republic exported $31.7bn worth of non-oil goods, including gas condensate, and imported around $40.47bn worth of products in the period, the report said. Iraq, China, the UAE, Afghanistan and India were the main importers of Iranian non-oil goods, it noted.
