Iraq agrees to supply Egypt with crude, diesel fuel

Egypt has signed an agreement with Iraq, under which four million barrels of Basra crude oil is to be shipped to Egypt each month, Al-Masry Al-Youm has reported. According to the terms of the deal, Iraq would also supply Egypt with 4,000 tonnes of diesel fuel every day to help bridge the gap between Egypt's production of 22,000 tonnes per day and its daily consumption of 35,000 tonnes, said Egyptian oil minister, Osama Kamal.
