Iraq Mega Projects 2013 continues to facilitate the increase of Iraq's oil and gas productivity

The CWC Group has announced the fourth Iraq Mega Projects Conference and Exhibition will take place 30 September - 2 October 2013 in Dubai, UAE.

The event will provide senior professionals, contract holders and the service industry with insights into the specific opportunities and challenges in Iraq's oil and gas field production.

Iraq faces major demands on its oil and gas resources and the collaboration between international and Iraqi stakeholders is crucial in meeting this market demand and continuing to grow the Iraqi economy. Iraq Mega Projects will address how to operate with greater efficiency and success by overcoming the remaining everyday challenges of doing business in Iraq including logistical challenges; recruiting local talent with the necessary skills and experience; corporate social responsibility (CSR) and ensuring the industry has a positive effect on the community.

The only Iraq focused oil and gas event in Dubai will discuss the improvements that have already been made over the past two years in the key areas of logistics, recruitment and CSR. Developed with the guidance of a steering committee of international experts, the two day Conference will identify project and infrastructure investment opportunities, latest field developments and identify best practice case studies on some of the toughest operational challenges.

Iraq Mega Projects Conference Producer, Natalie Bacon commented: "There are many companies with best practice and innovative solutions. Iraq Mega Projects will be a platform to showcase these success stories and uncover how they were achieved. You will hear testimonials of what has and hasn't worked so you can immediately improve your business operations in Iraq."

The international Exhibition will showcase the latest technologies to senior Iraqi professionals, contract holders and the service industry all looking to build partnerships. The Exhibition will see stands occupied by IOCs, Independents, EPC contractors and service companies.

Bacon further stated: "From all stakeholders in the Iraq Mega Project value chain, to new entrants to established companies and operators to sub-contractors, there will be knowledge-sharing of lessons learnt and a wealth of exciting networking".
