Iraq sweetens terms for oil buyers

Iraqi oil minister Abdul Kareem Luaibi has said the government has sweetened terms for oil contract buyers and is becoming more competitive on pricing to secure customers, Reuters has reported. Luaibi said he met customers in Vienna last month that buy Iraqi crude oil to hear their complaints. "After considering these problems in detail, we decided to improve the contractual terms and conditions as well as enhance the competitiveness of Iraq's crude oil," he said.
