ITP presents Arab Woman Awards, Abu Dhabi

For the fourth successive year, ITP Consumer, the region's largest publisher of women's magazines, is presenting the Arab Woman Awards, Abu Dhabi to pay tribute and showcase inspirational females from the capital of the United Arab Emirates.
The awards pay reverence to the aspiring personalities who, through their exceptional determination and self-dedication, provide positive role models for younger generations.
The Board of Judges are selected by ITP based on their integrity, their expertise in their particular field and being respected members of society.
The Board of Judges then follow the strict criteria provided which includes the nominees' achievements in the past twelve months and the impact of their work.
This year's Judges Board include three members returning from the 2012 Awards; Dr. Manahel Thabet, President and Founder of SmartTips Consultancy, Sheikha Rafeea Helal Bin Drai AlQubasi, member of the Abu Dhabi Business Woman's council and Mauzan owner and Nadine El Chaer, L'Officiel Middle East Group Editor. Furthermore, two new judges will be joining the Board this year; H.E Huda Al
Matroushi, Vice President of GASCO, 2011 Awards winner and Board Member and Government Representative of Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce & Industry and H.E Sarah Ibrahim Shuhail, Executive Director of Ewa'a and last year's Inspirational Arab Woman of the Year.
The Fairmont Bab Al Bahr, Abu Dhabi, will host the congregation of renowned judges, winners and eminent guests at a private ladies-only evening with gala dinner on Tuesday 5th of March. The event is strictly by invitation only.
The Arab Woman Awards have to-date recognized the achievement of over 100 Arab women and are now held in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Qatar and Kuwait. Previous winners include notable Abu Dhabi business women H.E. Huda Al Matroushi, H.E. Fatima Al Jaber and Moza Saeed AlOtaiba, Emirati designers Reem & Hind Beljafla of DAS Collection and Her Highness Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Women Establishment, wife of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs.
Sponsors of this year's Arab Woman Awards include the premium perfume brand Ajmal, a brand with a rich heritage acquired through 60 years of experience and know-how in the intricate art of perfumery. Other sponsors include Fiat and Western Motors.
