Jacky's Electronics to give away Nikon cameras every 10 minutes at Gitex Shopper 2012

Jacky's Electronics, staging its biggest participation at Gitex Shopper 2012, is making the event more interactive and exciting between the show's visitors and their loyal customers through various competitions and radio roadshows throughout the week-long exhibition.
For every purchase of Dhs300 or more at Jacky's stands, customers will get a chance to win Nikon cameras ranging from DSLR, Bridge-type, Compact slim, and Compact Coolpix via its first-ever e-raffle draws.
This year, Jacky's is highlighting the use a tablet-based e-raffle, which is considered a first and the largest electronic raffle draw taking place at Gitex Shopper.
The company is moving from paper-based draw allowing customers to easily enter the raffle electronically through the use of an App developed by Jacky's using a single input on a tablet instead of the hassle of filling numerous paper coupons.
Apart from the e-raffle draws, the company is also holding a Facebook Competition along with two sets of Karaoke Singing Competitions for students and shoppers at the event. In partnership with Beats by Dr. Dre and Mediacom, the Facebook and Karaoke Competitions let customers to enjoy and win exciting prizes while shopping at Jacky's stands.
The Facebook Competition, dubbed as 'Spot the Beats in Action', is running from 29th September to 6th October. All Jacky's customers and Facebook fans should take a photo of any Beats by Dr. Dre headset being used by anyone and upload it with a short interesting caption on Jacky's Facebook Fanpage. All photos must be original and taken at any of Jacky's Gitex Shopper stands or any of its outlets to be eligible for entry.
The first prize will win a Beats Studio, while the second and third places will each get a Beats Solo headset and Power Beats respectively. Winners will be announced on 10th October 2012.
In the Main Singing Star Competition, any visitors and shoppers are invited to participate by singing any karaoke song from the collection list. The preliminary stage will be held from 1st to 3rd October, wherein three finalists will be selected for each day and will compete for the finals on 4th October to receive special prizes from Jacky's and Mediacom.
All winners will also get a trophy and certificate, while the rest of the finalists will receive special prizes from Mediacom. For the Karaoke Singing Competition for Students will be held on 1st and 3rd of October, wherein random student visitors can participate. Three winners for each day will receive special prizes with the first place receiving a Mediacom MCI Kiddyoke 2020 and Jacky's gift vouchers.
Citibank cardholders who will use their cards with a minimum purchase of Dhs500 are entitled for a draw to win an Air Ticket per day. A total of eight tickets will be raffled by Citibank during the entire Gitex Shopper. These promotions are also valid in all Jacky's outlets.
In addition to the e-raffle prizes, Jacky's has also partnered with ARN network in organising radio roadshows with on-air competitions for Dubai 92, Virgin 104.4, Al Arabiya, City 101.6, and Hit 96.7 FM. Beats headsets are up for grabs during the radio roadshows at Gitex Shopper.
Jacky's also partnered with several leading banks in the UAE to provide 0% instalment payment plans during Gitex.
