Jafza says number of FMCG firms rose to 700 in 2012

Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza) has said the number of fast moving consumer goods (FMCG), health care, food and beverage companies in the free zone has grown to more than 700 so far in 2012, increasing from 556 in 2009, Gulf News has reported. The rise goes hand-in-hand with a rise in the level of trade contributions these Jafza companies have made to the region since 2001, reaching a peak of Dhs16bn in 2011, said Jafza.
