Jaidah Heavy Equipment hosts Palfinger regional seminar

Jaidah Heavy Equipment's training facility at the Industrial Area was the venue for the Sales and Service seminar which took place from October 7 to October 10. The event was hosted by Palfinger.

Palfinger was founded in 1932 in Austria, and is now headquartered in Salzburg. Its primary products are hydraulic loading cranes,container handling systems, forestry and recycling cranes, forklifts, aerial work platforms, liftgates, marine and offshore solutions, railway applications and so on. It exports over 90% of its products, with the Middle East region one of its primary markets. Jaidah Heavy Equipment is the exclusive distributor for Palfinger in Qatar.

Sales and Service managers from a number of GCC countries in the region: Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, the UAE were assembled for the event with the following companies represented: Al Shawaf, AES, Almoayyed, Al Masaood, DEERA, Guima, MBB, Jaidah and Palfinger themselves. Over three-and-a-half days, a number of industry-related topics were discussed.

These included discussion of heavy plant products such cranes, skip loaders, aerial platforms and accessories, as well as Sales and Service Training, Service Management, Warranty Handling, ExtranetApplications, Spare Parts Centres, ProductTechnology, and other important Sales- and Service-related subjects.
