At Jaz, we consider our mission statement - being renowned within the hospitality industry as the preeminent company to own, manage & operate holiday hotels world-wide using total quality management & principles along with our commitment to position Egypt among the world's most favoured tourist destination as a conviction; driving the company to excel & develop.
Brand Strategy
The company sticks to the strategic principles that have guided us decades: innovative service culture rather than products' consolidation, investment in our human assets, high quality standards & carefully planned expansions.
Following this strategy & managing quality within our portfolio; the management is very selective about properties that we acquire for joining our portfolio & in the past five years, 9 properties had been exited for failing to match the standards.
It's all about service; accordingly it's all about our people! We spare no efforts in training & qualifying our team members to help them develop, build a successful career; contributing to the company's overall guest satisfaction & success. The group implemented a complete training programme for all hierarchy levels - managerial, supervisory in addition to rank & file. This programme comprises of internal trainings e.g. service & skills' development, interpersonal skills (focusing on communicating with our guests), management & leadership, food safety & hygiene. Not to mention our participation in all of the training programmes organized by the Egyptian Tourism Federation under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism.
It's an ongoing practice that the company regularly carries out soft re-do wherever needed, but it recently had significant renovation projects at each of Jaz Belvedere, Iberotel Palace & Iberotel Club Fanara in Sharm El Sheikh, Iberotel Makadi Oasis Resort in Madinat Makadi - Hurghada, Iberotel Coraya Beach Resort, Iberotel Lamaya Resort & Sol Y Mar Solaya in Madinat Coraya - Marsa Alam. This transformation gave these seven focal properties a new look and feel that will help create even more memorable experiences for their discerning guests. Renovation work in all of the above included rooms as part of bigger re-do plans & in some public areas, swimming pools & restaurants as well.
Looking Ahead
In 2013, there's much to look forward to, with two new openings: Sol Y Mar Naama Bay - Sharm El Sheikh with the capacity of 194 rooms & the 90 rooms' Sol Y Mar Almaza Gardens - Almaza Bay, Mersa Matrouh. While 2014 is to witness the opening of another hotel in Sharm El Sheikh, Jaz Alcazar Sharm - in Nabq Bay that will feature 300 rooms spread over 157 thousand sqm.
