Following the decision made by Emmanuel Russel, CEO for the Middle East and Africa since 2006, to leave the Group in order to devote himself to new projects, the region - owing to its size and the large number of countries- has now been divided into two separate zones:
- A Middle East zone, entrusted to David Bourg.
- An Africa zone, entrusted to Jean-Sébastien Decaux.
David Bourg has been appointed CEO for Middle East.
David Bourg has been appointed CEO for Middle East, effective March 1st, 2013. He will be responsible for all the countries in the Middle East from Egypt to Pakistan, a territory that was already under his responsibility since 2011.
Based in Dubai, David Bourg will report to Jean-Charles Decaux, Chairman of the Executive Board and co-CEO.
Jean-Sébastien Decaux has been appointed CEO for Africa.
Jean-Sébastien Decaux has been appointed CEO for Africa, effective March 1st, 2013. He will be responsible for all the countries on the African continent (from the Maghreb to the Republic of South Africa). Jean-Sébastien Decaux will continue to serve as CEO, Southern Europe, Belgium and Luxembourg.
Jean-Sébastien Decaux will report to Jean-Charles Decaux, Chairman of the Executive Board and co-CEO.
