Jeddah to spend SR1.1bn on road projects

The Jeddah mayoralty has revealed a plan to build various road projects worth SR1.1bn including the construction of various tunnels and bridges, Arab News has reported. The work includes the conversion of Prince Majed Road and King Fahd Road into highways. The construction of tunnels and bridges at the intersections of these two roads has been awarded to local contractors, said the mayor's undersecretary for urban projects and construction, Ibrahim Kutubkhana.
