Jehad International Medical Clinic 'JIMC' receives global Joint Commission International 'JCI' Accreditation

Marking a milestone for the UAE healthcare sector, Jehad International Medical Clinic (JIMC) has received the prestigious international accreditation from the Joint Commission International (JCI), the global leader in accrediting healthcare organisations.
"We are honoured and pleased on receiving the accreditation from the Joint Commission International (JCI). This is in line with our mission to provide world-class quality medical care for all our patients. This accreditation is essentially a confirmation of the best practices we adhere and we will continually strive to achieve the highest standards of evidence-based care in years to come," Said Dr. Jehad Al Masri, Medical Director, Jehad International Medical Clinic (JIMC).

The system of accreditation by JCI is independent and is based upon the adoption of a set of standards to improve the quality of care on par with the best. Keeping pace with these standards, Jehad International Medical Clinic (JIMC) scored 100% in 694 criteria of the 700. Overall, the clinic achieved a score of 99.5% on the assessment providing quantifiable benchmarks for patient care.
Jehad International Medical Clinic (JIMC) received the JCI accreditation on 17th October 2012. The evaluation was conducted by a team of international healthcare experts who carried out an audit to ensure that international standards related to patient safety were met without exception at the clinic.
JCI has been working with health care organizations, ministries of health, and global organizations in over 90 countries since 1994. It is committed to improving the safety of patients through accreditation and certification services as well as through advisory and educational services aimed at helping organizations implement practical and sustainable solutions.
