Jewellery Arabia to be held from 16th to 20th October 2012 at Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre

To be held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Prime Minister of Bahrain, from 16th to 20th October 2012 at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre, preparations are in full swing for the forthcoming 21st anniversary edition of Jewellery Arabia.

This most-admired international exhibition will showcase more than 550 local and international exhibitors from 30 nations including national pavilions from Brazil, Hong Kong, India and Malaysia to be joined side by side by Bahrain's very own group of jewelers who will showcase local craftsmanship and talent.

Dr. Hassan Abdullah Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, Chairman of the Board of Bahrain Exhibition and Convention Authority, praised and expressed his gratitude to His Royal Highness the Prime Minister for his kind patronage and continuous support for this annual international event, stated that Jewellery Arabia series has a special significance to Bahrain which has been a destination for traders and craftsmen from surrounding countries for thousands of years due to its illustrious pearling heritage and strategic location. The exhibition continues the rich tradition of international trade and commerce by bringing together the finest jewellery houses and watch manufacturers from around the world.

Jewellery Arabia, since in inception in 1992, has firmly established itself as the largest and most prestigious jewellery and watch event in the Middle East. It is expected to attract over 50,000 visitors from various nationalities from inside and outside Bahrain.
