JFDA closes dairy factories over violations

The Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA) has shut down four dairy factories and a warehouse and seized more than 10 tonnes of unlicensed materials unfit for consumption, Jordan Times has reported. The factories and the warehouses are affiliated with a large plant that was closed down by the department three weeks ago for adulterating its dairy products, the regulator said.
