JFDA to train food service workers on safety standards

The Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA) has announced that food service workers will start receiving training on safe food handling next week, Jordan Times has reported. Due to the high turnover among workers in restaurants, "we want to provide the newcomers with the training they need to ensure they are educated about food safety," said Mohammad Khreisha, head of the JFDA's food department.
