Jordan exceeded global average in internet access form home

According to a survey by Gallup Organisation, around 34% of adults in Jordan have internet access at home in 2011, which is 2% higher than the global average, Jordan Times has reported. The kingdom, which was ranked 10th among Arab countries in terms of adults having internet at home, was preceded by the UAE where 85% of adults were linked to the world web from home, followed by Bahrain (84%), Kuwait (83%), Qatar (77%), Oman (74%), Saudi Arabia (74%), Lebanon (45%), Algeria (38%) and Morocco (37%), the study found.
