Jordan Tourism Investments Company appoints Mr. Ghaith Abujaber as General Manager of Mirage

Jordan Tourism Investments Company (JTI) named Mr. Ghaith Abujaber General Manager of its Mirage Project, a multi-purpose development hosted in the Kan Zaman village. Within his new post, Mr. Abujaber will be overseeing the project's developments in its different stages.
He further stated that with his sound leadership skills, Mr. Abujaber will be able to translate JTI's vision for Mirage into a tangible reality, transforming the development into a premium touristic, family oriented, and youth friendly location of choice for citizens and tourists alike across the Kingdom, marking yet another milestone in the Jordanian tourism and hospitality arena.
Mr. Abujaber brings with him the years of experience he had gained throughout his career in the marketing, sales, and business development fields, whereby he worked in the hospitality, tourism, financial, and real-estate sectors.
Prior to taking on this position, he was the Business Development Manager at JTI between May 2007 and October 2012. Before that, Mr. Abujaber took on several posts within organizations both inside and outside Jordan, the last of which was Sales and Marketing Manager at Gulf Finance House between September 2006 and April 2007, before which he was also the Regional Manager for the North America Region at Tameer Holdings Corp. Dubai, UAE.
He started off his career taking on several posts at the Crown Plaza Hotel (previously known as Amra Forum Hotel). From his end, Mr. Abujaber stated that he was looking forward to working within his new post, where he will be translating his positive outlooks into actions on the ground.

I am very proud to be working on one of the company's most important projects "Mirage", a development that is set to be a landmark in the Jordanian tourism and entertainment scene. Mr. Abujaber is a holder of Bachelor in Business Administration with a concentration in Tourism and Hospitality Management obtained from Mount Saint Vincent University, Halifax, Canada. He also holds several additional certifications including; the Six Continents Hotels Certificate of Training & Development, the George Washington University Events Management Certification, and a holder of the Rotaract Youth Leadership Award. Furthermore, Abujaber is also an active member at several voluntary non-governmental organizations including; the YMCA, Rotaract, and the Rotary Club, through which he had chaired several of their key events over the years. Abujaber was Vice President and President of the Rotaract Club respectively for two consecutive years. His academic and professional backgrounds make him a good candidate for fulfilling the project's goals and visions.
The Mirage project which will be inaugurated in the spring of 2013, combining elements of traditional heritage and modern hospitality trends in one, presenting to visitors 21 outlets including restaurants, cafes, lounges, entertainment outlets, and shops. Spread over a stretch of 4000 m2 of land, Mirage is divided into sections each offering a unique experience to cater segments of all ages; varying from families, students, children, and tourists.
FMirage is granted to offer an authentic experience from arrival to departure with its extensive set of shops that offer Arabic and International cuisine, hip cafes, stylish lounges, alongside play areas and fun booths for children. The project is set to accommodate to the needs of 4000 to 6000 visitors on weekends.
It is worth noting that the Mirage project operates under the umbrella of JTI. It is run by a team brining 23 years of experience in the tourism, business, marketing, and events management fields to the forefront of its operations, thus bringing further positive change to the national economy.
