  • PRESS RELEASE

Jotun Powder Coatings, one of the world's leading producers and distributors of powder coatings, has announced the launch of 'Guard Endure,' a high-quality range of powder coatings offering superior resistance to scratches, rubbing and marring as compared to other standard powder coatings in the market.

Available in a wide range of colours, 'Guard Endure' provides consistently better and longer protection across a wide range of applications, particularly for the furniture and fixture segments in the Middle East.

"The launch of this new product is focused on addressing the demands of the furniture and fixtures markets for a high quality powder coating that can offer both superior protection and durability," said Olaf Conreur, Global Marketing Manager, Jotun Powder Coatings.

"The unique capabilities of 'Guard Endure' will give manufacturers and users the confidence of enjoying their furniture and other coated objects for a longer time."

Today's furniture in homes, schools and public areas are openly exposed to a lot of wear and tear, like bumps, scratches, scuffs and abrasions. Despite this, consumers in the Middle East still expect their furniture and fixtures to last longer.

The level of expectation is even higher for furniture manufacturers, who expect their products to endure tough conditions from assembly to delivery. Looking to address these demands, Jotun Powder Coatings has developed 'Guard Endure,' which provides tough scratch and mar resistance — ensuring that the furniture, fixtures, shelving and other coated objects are not only protected but also maintains its original appearance, regardless of its colour.

'Guard Endure' does not require any investment in special equipment by manufacturers and applicators. The new product is highly recommended for home and office furniture, lighting, racks and shop fittings, among others. Another unique capability of 'Guard Endure' is its flexible curing temperature, which translates to improved productivity and energy savings.

Higher productivity is achieved by curing the product only for a few minutes, whilst energy savings are attained by the option of curing the product at a low temperature, such as 160°C or even 150°C.
Latest range offers long term protection and superior resistance to scratches, rubbing and marring.
