Jumbo introduces new online gadget

Jumbo Electronics announced a seven-day social media bidding auction for a wide range of exciting gadgets.
A wide variety of exciting products will be on auction ranging from mobile phones and iPads to an LED TV.
The Gitex Knockdown event will end on 28th September 2012, a day before the actual Gitex Shopper event which runs from 29th September to 6thOctober at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
Vishesh Bhatia, CEO, Jumbo Electronics said: "The world has changed and customers love all kinds of electronics and gadgets today. The Gitex Knockdown is our teaser promotion to the main Gitex shopper and is using a fun and interactive online auction campaign to engage our Facebook fans in an exciting chase for some fabulous products."
He added: "Consumers in UAE wait all year for the Gitex Shopper event to start; so this year we decided to make the seven days before the start more exciting than ever before. Our social media auction will give everyone a flavour of the great Jumbo offers and deals we will offer at Gitex Shopper."
Anyone living in the UAE can participate in this Jumbo social media auction. To participate all you have to do is log on to Jumbo's Facebook page and become a fan by clicking the 'Like' button. After becoming a Fan, you can start bidding through the special App Jumbo has created for the online auction.
The Facebook page will announce the names of the daily winners and individual winners will be directly notified by Jumbo Electronics about how to collect their prizes.
Alongside the Dubai Shopping Festival, Gitex Shopper is traditionally the biggest and busiest electronics sales period of the year in the UAE. In addition to offering exciting deals and promotions at Gitex Shoppers, Jumbo extends them throughout their network of 24 retail stores located across the UAE.
Jumbo Electronics will reveal the final details of their offers, special deals and activities for Gitex Shopper on the morning of 29th September 2012.
