He added that Dasman Diabetes Center will supervise a marathon on the sideline of this occasion, and lectures will be held to raise awareness during next week. It is worth noting that KFH will be a strategic partner in those events.
Such efforts are part of KFH's initiatives to support the health sector as part of its social responsibility. He went on to say that KFH had taken part in previous events that seek to prevent the spread of diabetes, such as walking marathon in conjunction with the Ministry of Health, and the inking an international agreement to serve millions of patients with the IDF. It is worth noting that the IDF covers over 160 countries, and supports the requirements of diabetic patients since 1950.
In addition, KFH sent several diabetes specialists to international health centers, including a Harvard University center, in order to receive updates regarding means of diabetes prevention.
