Khaleeji Commercial Bank receives students from Dauphine University, Paris

The visit took place on 28th April 2013 at the KHCB Headquarters in Bahrain Financial Harbor, where the students were given a short presentation on Retail Banking by KHCB's Head of Marketing, Product Development and VIP Banking Mr. Abdulnasser Ahmed Al-Rayes in the presence of other KHCB officials including Deputy General Manager - Commercial Banking of KHCB Mr. Fuad Taqi, Head of Human Resources Ms. Fetooh Al Mannai and HR Senior Manager Ms. Fatima Al Binali.

The objective of the presentation was to help the students, 90% of whom are currently in employment, to master the concepts and techniques used in Islamic Finance and structure different finance products to match the needs of investors that are consistent with their system of values and ethics.

On this occasion, Head of Marketing, Product Development and VIP Banking of KHCB Mr. Abdulnasser Ahmed Al-Rayes said, "We are honored to welcome the students from Dauphine University to our premises and we are more than glad to help equip them with a further understanding of Islamic Finance and its significant contribution to Bahrain's banking scenario."

Following the presentation, an in-depth discussion session was held between the young bankers and the KHCB officials.

Head of Human Resources at KHCB Ms. Fetooh Al Mannai said, "These young professionals are going to be the managers and leaders of tomorrow - hence, we at KHCB understand the importance of giving them an extensive exposure from our experience in the banking sector to help them progress in their careers. We are glad that the students found the sessions interactive and stimulating and hope to welcome them as interns, visitors or even prospective clients in the near future."
