Kuwait Petroleum Corp (KPC) has said its net profit until the end of November 2012 reached KD1.8bn, Kuna has reported. The managing director of KPC for financial and administrative affairs, Ali Al-Hajri said net profit by the end of the fiscal year is expected to amount to KD2.3bn to KD2.4bn, almost unchanged from the previous year. He attributed the "good" profit to proximity in oil prices, as well as choosing the right time to shut down refineries for maintenance purposes in order to achieve best results and provide high-quality products.
