Saudi Arabia bans Haj operators from using schools to house pilgrims

The Saudi Haj ministry has banned the use of public buildings for the accommodation of pilgrims unless they are licensed and supervised by the Civil Defence, Arab News has reported. The use of schools, institutions, rest houses and wedding halls is to be sanctioned only in cases of emergency on a temporary basis and after the ministry's approval.
