KUFPEC wins petroleum exploration deal in Australia

Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploration Co (KUFPEC), a subsidiary of Kuwait Petroleum Corp, has won a WA-481-P concession for petroleum exploration in Australia, Kuna has reported. The concession, which covers a 17,500 sq km, is divided between KUFPEC (30%), Murphy Oil Exploration (40%) and Samsung Oil and Gas Co (30%). The concession is for six years and include seismic surveys, geological and geophysical studies and excavation operations.
