Kuwait China Co back to black with $14.9m nine-month profit

Kuwait China Investment Co (KCIC) has reported KD4.2m ($14.9m) in net profit in the first nine months of 2012, compared with a loss of KD11m in the same period a year earlier, Kuna has reported. Total assets reached KD92.2m, while liabilities fell to KD6.3m from KD8.4m recorded in the same period of 2011. The KCIC was set up in 2005 by the government as a Kuwaiti shareholding firm with a total capital of KD80m ($280m).
