Kuwait Finance House allows customers to request checkbooks via ATMs

Kuwait Finance House (KFH) has announced the launch of a new service to its customers allowing them to request checkbooks through ATMs. Customer can use ATM to issue checkbook, rather than being confined to the staff working in the bank branches.

This step comes within KFH's strategy to strengthen its banking system and keep up with the renewable customer needs.

The head of Operations, Mr. Anwar Bader Al Ghaith, said in a statement, that the new service enables individual customers and institutions of requesting checkbooks at any time through ATMs, after completing the process of the safe access, by recording the request for checkbooks immediately instead of requesting the service through the staff in the branches.

Al Ghaith added that the new service comes as a part of KFH's plan to provide banking services with added value for the local market and users. The new service offers a range of features most notably are saving time and efforts for the customers as well as giving them the opportunity to use the advanced electronic services, where customer can submit a request to issue a checkbook from any KFH's ATM at any time throughout the week.

Al Ghaith mentioned that KFH is currently working on completing the development of the services of its banking system, especially the non-financial services provided via ATM, and more of these advanced services will be announced in the coming period.

KFH has earlier make available to its customer the service of depositing checks through ATM also provided through some of its units operating in foreign markets, the services of dealing in gold and silver via ATM, being the first bank in the world doing that.
