Landmark to achieve $1bn revenue in India by 2014

UAE-based Landmark Group has said it is close to achieving its $1bn revenue target in India, where it operates its Max fashions, Home Centre and Lifestlye brands, Gulf News has reported. The retail group is targeting 30 to 35% growth in India this year, driven by its hypermarket business after a tie up with the French supermarket operator Auchan Group, company director Ramanathan Hariharan told the daily. The Max, Home Centre and Lifestyle brands earned $600m in India in 2012 and target 30% growth in 2013, he added.
