Landmark Leisure expands its presence in the region

The new Fun City centres that are planned for opening in H1 2013 are in partnership with some of the leading realty groups in the region, including Safeer Group, Al Hamra Group and Aswaq Management.

Four of these new centres will be based in the UAE and will be located at Century Mall in Mamzar, Safeer Mall in Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi Mall & City Mall Madinat Zayed City in the emirate of Abu Dhabi. In addition to these, Bahrain and Kuwait will also have new centres at Riffa and Muharraq and Salam Mall respectively while Qatar will see the launch of a new brand at Ezdan Mall in Doha.

Landmark Leisure will unveil its new brand 'Fun Ville' in the first quarter of 2013. Fun Ville centres are specially designed to fit within an area of 4000-15000 sq feet. Fun Ville has been created keeping in mind the relationship with the community. Fun Ville will have all activities, games and attractions that resonate with the interests of the whole community. The preferences of younger children and the safety and hygiene standards for them will be clearly reflected in Fun Ville's product offering.

The major attractions at Fun Ville will include the Fun 'n Learn play areas that are designed for younger children from 0 to 6 years engaging in activities such as arts & crafts, singing, dancing, colouring, and pretend play. It will also be equipped with 'Play Zone' to enable children to unleash their antics in a safe and fun environment. Modern soft-play areas will also be made available for the restless little ones to jump, hop, run, climb and slide. In addition, the latest, advanced video games, redemption games, and novelty games for younger children and popular Kiddie rides that enjoy a huge fan following, even at Fun City, will also be included at Fun Ville. The first Fun Ville centre in UAE is scheduled to open doors to its visitors in November this year at the newly developed Al Hamra Mall extension in RAK.
