- PRESS RELEASE
Lanvin announces the opening of its new men's store in Beirut's Park Avenue. The dual level boutique presents the new concept of Lanvin stores under the artistic direction of Alber Elbaz. It will also offer to customers the Lanvin made-to-measure service.
High vitrines give an elegant appeal to the boutique, while fun and creative window displays portray the brand essence and catch the eyes of passers-by. The inside of the store reveals the new concept: classic simplicity incorporated with rich luxury materials. Neutral wooden parquet floors create an airy feel to the space.
The ground floor houses the collection created by Lucas Ossendrijver, men's designer. A selection of the Lanvin casual collection greets customers as they enter the boutique: cardigan, jumpers, trousers hang on dark bronze rails. The Spring Summer collection offers a variety of looks from casual sportswear to a contemporary classic. Structured hi-tech sportswear pieces, from double sided stitched parkas to leather jackets, are so delicately and finely cut that they can be worn as shirts. T-shirts and trousers, expertly cut out from flat grey wool adds to the casual wear, while more structured looks with no pockets, buttons or detailing cater for the more contemporary dresser.
The men's accessories are highlighted in the center of the boutique, displayed on an art deco style bronze table. For the summer, they bring with them a flurry of luxurious skins. Python, patent leather and suede are key players for the men's shoes. Bags are recreated with crumpled leather in silver and black, bringing together technical fabrics and functionality.
The first floor caters to the needs of a customer in search of a more classic look. The Lanvin formal collection is displayed amidst dark bronze and glass cabinets boldly display a range of accessories. Light wooden shelves hold an exquisite range on men's tailored shirts, highlighted by individual spotlights.
Custom made leather chairs complement the dark metallic tables and light wooden cabinets which house the Lanvin men's leather goods. Luxurious leather envelopes are displayed alongside the Lanvin ties- repeated in the display in a range of colors.
For gentlemen seeking a bespoke quality and fit for their formal wear, the Lanvin made-to-measure service is offered.
