- PRESS RELEASE
Some of the largest names from a diverse mix of industries are set to attend The Leadership Deep Dive, which kicks off today. This program is making its first-ever appearance in the Middle East.
The program is presented by CCM Consultancy and Case Western Reserve University's Weatherhead School of Management. The Weatherhead School of Management is renowned for its work in organizational behavior, and one of the program's lead faculty, Dr. Richard Boyatzis, is considered to be a pioneer in Emotional and Social Intelligence. Dr. David Cooperrider, Fairmount Minerals Professor in Social Entrepreneurship, and Dr. Melvin Smith, Associate Professor, Organizational Behavior Faculty Director, Executive Education are also a part of the lead faculty for this executive coaching program.
"We have a great mix of corporations attending this event. One of the main attributes to having such a diverse group of organizations attending the same leadership course is that the topics can be considered from many angles and in relation to several different circumstances. Very few leadership programs focus on Organizational Development focusing instead on business acumen in management, which falls short of the true developmental requirements needed for an organization to succeed. Even fewer programs offer the attention that we do in that both training and coaching continues for an entire year," commented Edward Matti, Managing Partner, CCM Consultancy.
The high profile attendees to this leadership development course range from advertising giants like JWT to port authorities such as DP World. Other companies attending include KPMG, Dubai Airports, Genpharm Services, Aggreko International, and Abbott Laboratories to name a few.
Participants will also enjoy conversing with the faculty during breaks and over dinner as the tuition also covers food and beverage. The lead faculty for the program include: Dr. Richard Boyatzis, Dr. David Cooperrider, and Dr. Melvin Smith.
This one-year 9-day program is delivered in three separate 3-day sessions; the first session begins today and continues until September 26, 2012.
The other two sessions are from January 28-30 and May 27-29, 2013. All three sessions are taking place at The H Hotel (formerly Monarch Hotel) on Sheikh Zayed Road.
