Lebanon to launch oil, gas exploration in two years

Lebanese energy minister Gibran Bassil has said his country is set to begin oil and gas exploration within two years, the Associated Press has reported. Exploration will begin at the end of 2015 and development would start the following year, Bassil told reporters in Beirut at the launching of the pre-qualification process for companies that want to get licenses for oil and gas work off the Lebanese coast.
