Lebanon's Fransabank posts 12.4% increase in nine-month income

Lebanon-based Fransabank has posted a 12.4% drop in net profits to $107.1 million in the first nine months of 2012, The Daily Star has reported. Net operating income grew by 4.2% year-on-year to $306.6m, while net interest income climbed 22% to reach $245m. Customer deposits reached $12.5bn at the end of September, an increase of 8.3% from 2011, the bank said.
