Levant availability of BlackBerry Z10 celebrated with launch event in Beirut

BlackBerry hosted an exclusive event in Beirut on February 18th for guests from across the LEVANT region to celebrate the availability of the BlackBerry Z10 smartphone in Iraq, Jordan and Lebanon.

The new BlackBerry Z10 is the first smartphone based on the re-designed, re-engineered and re-invented BlackBerry 10 platform, giving customers a powerful and unique new mobile computing experience.

By exclusive invitation, the event took place at the Phoenicia Hotel, celebrating an evening of lifestyle and technology excellence. The audience was addressed by His Excellency Minister of Telecommunications, Nicolas Sehnaoui and Her Excellency Ambassador Mrs. Hilary Childs-Adams, Ambassador of Canada to Lebanon. Regional business leaders and local developers who designed apps for the BlackBerry 10 platform also attended, including music service Anghami and developer of the Al Jazeerah app, Apps2you.
