LG to open new retail stores in Mideast

LG has unveiled plans to expand by up to 20% its retail stores in overseas locations including the Middle East in 2013 to increases its smartphone market share, Slashgear has reported. The South Korean electronics giant said it would expand its global network of 3,000 outlets, by opening some 600 new retail locations. LG has also said it aims to double its LTE-smartphone market share this year, and triple its sales of LTE-handsets, as well.
