LG has announced the launch of its 'Life Tastes Good Championship', whereby budding amateur chefs in the UAE are invited to submit innovative recipes which can be prepared in one hour using LG's Charcoal Light Wave oven.
"The Life Tastes Good Championship has been running successfully for five years now, and becomes ever-more popular year-on-year. We believe the Championship is a recipe for healthy living. And with a good life comes good food. This year, in line with the competition's theme of 'Reflect your life on cuisine,' we're encouraging our participants to embrace their cultural infusions and culinary styles in their dishes," said Mr. D.Y. Kim, President of LG Electronics Gulf FZE.
The contestants will be battling it out using LG's innovative Charcoal Light Wave oven, which boasts a number of unique features such as Charcoal lighting heater, Active Convection Control, Energy Saving High Efficiency Heating System, and a friendly user interface.
The individuals will be given one hour to prepare a single dish and will be judged by a chef's panel consisting of renowned Master Chefs Osama and Bobby Kapoor.
The Life Tastes Good Competition is a platform provided by LG to enable talented culinary artists to support their aspirations of becoming a master chef. It is open to all budding cooking talents within the UAE, and applicants can submit their recipes through the LG Gulf Fan Club Facebook page. The deadline for uploading recipes is September 23, 2012.
