Libyan patients' bills in Jordan to be audited by PwC
- Jordan: 11 hours ago
Jordan's Private Hospitals Association (PHA) has urged private hospitals in the kingdom to cooperate with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), which was hired by the Libyan government to settle the bill for Libyan patients, Jordan Times has reported. "The company, which is considered one of the biggest auditing firms in the world, will take a 10% random sample of invoices to examine and compare them with Libyan patients' medical files and conditions," said PHA president, Fawzi Hammouri. The total dues for Libyan patients treated at private hospitals is around JD150m, according to Hammouri, who said the figure is expected to go down to JD120m after the auditing process.
