Lifeline Hospital inaugurated at Salalah

His Excellency, Salim bin Ofaith bin Abdullah Al Shanfari, head of Dhofar Municipality officially inaugurated Lifeline Hospital Salalah at 11 am on Wednesday, 18th of July 2012, in the presence of dignitaries and invited guests by unveiling the emblem of Lifeline Hospital - Salalah.
Dr. Shamsheer announced that free consultation will be extended to all patients for one week from 18th to 24th July at the Salalah branch to celebrate the joyous occasion of the official inauguration.
The former Private Hospital was taken over by Lifeline Group in March 2011 and has recently undergone extensive refurbishment. From a medical centre, it has been upgraded to a full-fledged hospital which remains open round the clock and is now capable of handling most medical emergencies.
Surgeons and physicians with experience gained from around the world serve in the departments of gynaecology, paediatrics, orthopaedics, internal medicine, general surgery, radiology, pathology and anaesthesia. Radiology and pathology services are offered under the direct guidance of qualified radiologist and pathologist.
Compassionate and efficient nursing staff and other paramedics render support services to the doctors in the hospital. Pharmacy remains open 24 hours and an ambulance is available all the time on call basis for transporting patients.
Highly advanced modular operation theatre with laminar flow has been installed in LL Hospital Salalah for surgical procedures. The High Dependency Unit can handle patients who require constant monitoring. In patient rooms, delivery room and Special Care Baby Unit are other additional features offered at this hospital.
Located on Al Rabaat Street opposite the new Lulu Hypermarket, this hospital is easily accessible to the general public and is a boon for the common man, who had to travel all the way to Muscat to seek advanced medical services. By far the biggest private medical facility in Salalah, Lifeline Hospital hopes to fill the void felt in Dhofar governorate for superior health care at affordable rates.
