- PRESS RELEASE
The turn of the New Year has seen independent experiential agency Lightblue open its doors in two new continents while expanding its home-grown business in Dubai. European operations will be handled out of Glasgow, Scotland, with Australian projects being run from a Melbourne office.
Co-founding partner Ian Lynagh has opened doors in Melbourne after re-locating to the southern hemisphere towards the end of 2012.
Managing and Creative Partner David Balfour continues to grow the Middle Eastern operations in the Dubai-based head office whilst over-seeing the Glasgow office. After a successful 2012 that saw an exclusive 2-year experiential deal being penned with Sony Middle East and Africa for the Sony PlayStation account, widening the reach of Lightblue was a natural evolution aided by a demand for creative services and a geographically able work-force.
Balfour said of the expansion 'We are extremely pleased to be announcing our expansion into new markets, this has been an aim for the company since we started in 2007 and to see our goals be realised is only testament to the hard-work everybody at Lightblue has done over the years. Being able to offer our clients the same level of creativity across the globe is very exciting, we may even have to re-think the term boutique agency when describing ourselves now!'
Lightblue are an experiential agency with a head office in Dubai. Current clients include Sony PlayStation, Hewlett Packard, Pernod Ricard Gulf, Cartoon Network Arabic and Gray MacKenzie & Partners.
