Linden Boarding School Tours comes to Doha

Linden Boarding School Tours will be hosting an education expo in Doha, to provide parents, students and school counselors with details of the programs available in a long list of world-class boarding schools located throughout the US, UK and Switzerland.

Representing approximately 25 schools in the mentioned markets, the fair will feature details of summer camps, full-time programs, tailored programs for students making the leap from secondary education to university, and specialized support for children with learning disabilities.

Speaking about the upcoming fair, John Williamson, Executive Director, Linden Boarding School Tours said, "Geared towards enhancing each individual child's learning experience, Linden Boarding Schools promise smaller classes, increased interaction between teachers and students, access to a long list of extra-curricular activities and a guarantee of more time spent learning than in a traditional educational establishment. Research has shown that the benefits of boarding school ensure greater opportunities later in life."

Courses on offer include summer programs of various lengths spanning from one week to two months, often popular with younger students, providing the opportunity to specialize in any number of subject areas. Topics include everything from marine biology, to theatre, dance, music, sports and many more. Linden Boarding School also offers a Post-Graduate Year 13 programs for recent high-school graduates, providing valuable skills to students soon to embark on their university career. Targeted at 17 - 19 year olds, the courses place students in good stead to pursue a degree in the UK or US, giving them the chance to fill their skills gap, be it a need to improve their English, widen their knowledge through a number of excursions or even develop their self-confidence.

Williamson went on to add, "Attending boarding school is a highly enjoyable experience for students who gain not only academic qualifications, but also benefit but from character building, making life-long friends and developing essential skills such as those of self-discipline and leadership. With summer camps for younger children to programs for elder teens preparing for university, there is a unique offering to suit every students needs."

The event will run between 6 - 8pm at the Marriott Courtyard City Centre Hotel, West Bay City Centre, Al Wahda Street, West Bay. Admission is free.
