UK company Sheffmed will officially unveil its new Lion Head Light & HD Video System - a video headlight that allows wireless HD recording and playback - at the largest healthcare exhibition in the Middle East.

The Lion Head Light system allows surgeons to record and archive their procedures, providing valuable teaching material whilst also offering possible evidence against any potential litigation.

The Lion system is made from ultra lightweight materials and its design allows a micro HD camera to be mounted on the headlight for recording procedures and operates wireless with a battery pack.

Focusing on innovation and design, Sheffmed offers dynamic solutions to the medical device field including a range of operating room consumables and high end video capture devices.

Alongside Sheffmed's leading video capture devices the company also offers a range of operating room consumables including a single use suction irrigation set to be used during laparoscopic procedures.

Sheffmed are hoping to establish distributors in key markets across the Middle East while at Arab Health.

Alan McNulty, Sheffmed's Sales Director, said: "We hope this year's Arab Health will generate some key leads in international markets and allow us to establish distributors in the Gulf regions.

"We are proud to offer a complete UK design and build project in the Lion LED Headlight. Our aim is to showcase British Innovation and couple this with our global conscience.
"Our charity work is growing with the launch of the Sheffmed Foundation, which will use profits from the company to support ENT Doctors in Africa."

Arab Health 2013 runs from the 28th to the 31st of January in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Sheffmed will be exhibiting in Hall 7 at Stand 7C23.
