Lladro opens the doors to its first stand-alone boutique in the Middle East

Lladro, Spain's luxury porcelain art brand opened its first Middle East stand-alone boutique in Dubai Mall - the region's most prominent retail destination.
Founded in 1950 by brothers Juan, José and Vicente Lladró, the brand has over the years carved a niche for itself as the most innovative leader in porcelain decorative art. The success of the brand can be attributed to its completely handmade artisan process of creation, dedicated team of highly skilled artists and master craftsmen and production process innovations. Lladro has an impressive collection ranging from classical figurines to sculptural pieces, functional objects and monumental pieces in High Porcelain. This diversity of products positions the brand at the forefront of market tastes, reinforced by collaborations with leading external designers who add their personal and artistic flair to the Lladró universe.

To mark this significant retail milestone and as a special tribute to the region's ancient art of falconry, the brand has created a limited edition 'Falcon' exclusively for the Middle East. This stunning piece faithfully reproduces the features of the Majestic gyrfalcon, believed to be the "king of the birds".
The brand began its international expansion in the 1960s and today, its global retail network includes more than 40 stand-alone boutiques located in some of the world's major cities, including New York, Beverly Hills, Moscow, Tokyo, London, Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore, Delhi, Mumbai, Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia and now Dubai. In addition, it has over 1,000 points of sale in 120 countries on the five continents.
The Dubai Mall boutique will complement the existing network of Lladro corners in Tanagra stores across the Middle East.
