LMC posts 108.5% surge in nine-month net profit

Bahrain-based Liquidity Management Centre (LMC) has said its net profit for the first nine months of this year surged 108.5% to $2.615m, compared with a net profit of $1.254m for the same period in 2011, after a net impairment provision of $220,000, Gulf Daily News has reported. Third-quarter net profit also jumped to $1.393m from $322,000 for the same period in 2011. Total operating income amounted to $6.513m, compared to $5.794m for the same period in 2011, LMC said.
